Meet Kelly Lindstrom
Using Professional Expertise to Serve Woodbury
Kelly has proudly called Woodbury home since 2004. A lifelong Minnesotan, she moved to Woodbury from a rural community and quickly discovered a city that offered the perfect balance of thoughtful growth, exceptional amenities, and beautiful open spaces. Woodbury has provided the opportunity to enjoy life while raising a family in a community that values quality of life and careful planning.
Kelly's three children attended Liberty Ridge Elementary, Lake Middle School, and Woodbury High School. Throughout those years, her family was actively involved in the Woodbury Athletic Association (WAA), local schools, and community activities.
Kelly holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and has worked in real estate appraisal since 2002. Before transitioning into appraisal, she built a successful career in accounting, working in manufacturing and with financial institutions specializing in collateral valuation and management. She also owned and operated a small business with more than 15 employees.
Today, Kelly is a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with experience in commercial, industrial, and residential valuation throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area and greater Minnesota. She specializes in right-of-way appraisal and eminent domain, has served as an expert witness, hearing commissioner, and presenter at the Minnesota Department of Transportation Right of Way Conference. Her career has given her firsthand experience working with local governments, land use, development, infrastructure, and responsible planning—knowledge that directly relates to the important decisions facing Woodbury.
Giving Back to the Community That Has Given Me So Much
Giving back has always been an important part of Kelly's life. She is a member of St. Ambrose and actively attends Eagle Brook Church, where she volunteers in the nursery and preschool ministry. She has also served as a religious education instructor, volunteered with PTA/PTO, serves on the MnDOT Right of Way Conference Committee, and has volunteered with her pet during finals week at the University of St. Thomas. Most recently, Kelly helped found Power of 100 Women Greater Woodbury, a new nonprofit dedicated to bringing women together to invest in and support local nonprofits making a difference throughout the community. Additionally, today, she is the president of a 48-unit sub-association after serving as treasurer and a board member over the past six years.
Now an empty nester, Kelly is ready to give back to the community that has given so much to her family. She believes Woodbury's success is the result of thoughtful planning and responsible leadership, and she is committed to preserving what makes the city special while preparing it for future generations.
